Barry came here in 1993 with a strong background in construction and remodeling.  He was originally brought on as a window and door installer.  In 2005 he became our “Measure Tech”.  Barry gets a final measurement on every window and door sold before it is ordered from the manufacturer to ensure that your product sare the correct size for your home each and every time.  In addition to that he places the orders with the manufacturers and follow through until its delivery at our warehouse.  He still installs windows, and assists Ben with service and repair requests. When not in the office Barry enjoys spending time with his family, and boating on the lake. He is also very passionate about politics and will debate anyone who dares to take him on.

Mike began his career in the industry at the age of 17; most recently working in and around the Main Line in custom cabinetry and high end renovation jobs.  He came to us in early 2016 with a focus on additions, enclosures, and decks.  When asked what he enjoys about being with the company most, he responded that Smuckers is a team oriented and supportive company; and that the focus on customer satisfaction here is greater than any other company he has worked for.  Mike gets to take his design talent and help his customers plan and execute their home improvement plans.  Seeing a client’s dream come to fruition and meeting and exceeding their expectations makes the job fun.

In his spare time Mike enjoys photography, home DIY projects, painting, and spending time at the beach.  He is also a proud father to a teenage daughter with exceptional soccer skills.  Most weekends he can be found on the sidelines of a game cheering her on.

Jim worked for our company way back in the 80’s as a roofer.  Life took him and his family to Florida for several decades where he continued to work as a roofer and a roofing sales/estimator.  Jim came back to the area and started working here again in the winter of 2016 as our shingle repair estimator.  Jim was groomed and prepared for this job by his predecessor, Lee Smucker, because finding the cause of a roof leak can be tricky and requires a trained eye and experience.

In his spare time Jim enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and 2 grown sons; one of which works with him here at Smuckers as a spouting installer.  He also enjoys getting out on his motorcycle and unwinding on the road.
