Jim worked for our company way back in the 80’s as a roofer. Life took him and his family to Florida for several decades where he continued to work as a roofer and a roofing sales/estimator. Jim came back to the area and started working here again in the winter of 2016 as our shingle repair estimator. Jim was groomed and prepared for this job by his predecessor, Lee Smucker, because finding the cause of a roof leak can be tricky and requires a trained eye and experience.
In his spare time Jim enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and 2 grown sons; one of which works with him here at Smuckers as a spouting installer. He also enjoys getting out on his motorcycle and unwinding on the road.
We had needed to replace our windows in our house. We got several quotes and chose Smuckers. They were in the middle of the road on price but seemed more knowledgeable than the others. The process was painless. The windows turned out great. They have very good craftsmanship! One window was a real challenge and we had a concern about the looks from the inside. Without making a big deal about it or charging us more the employee went above and beyond the quoted job to make the window look fantastic. I will never hire anyone else for windows or doors. They quality materials are sure to last a lifetime. I would not buy cheap drop in replacement windows like others are doing.
